Similarly, schools around the state are enacting incremental projects to create more equitable spaces.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>This crew will be a think-tank to imagine what a transformed educational experience might look like.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>We will begin our investigation by learning from some of the individuals in Vermont who are compelled by this work, and what each hopes to come from this process. We will then hit the road and learn from indigenous scholars and community leaders in Maine, as this will help us unearth some of the original and permeating foundation of our educational system over one hundred years ago.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Then, we will continue our road-trip to Rhode Island, Detroit, Chicago, and Minneapolis to learn from people creating and enacting transformed educational spaces.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>This crew has the opportunity to be part of Education Reimagined&#8217;s Young Film Makers Film Festival in October, where the winners of the Media Challenge &#8216;What if &#8220;school&#8221; as we know it didn&#8217;t exist?
