Transforming What Justice Might Look Like: Learning From NYC

Date: Tuesday, June 18, 2019 to Sunday, June 30, 2019

This crew will learn the landscape of our criminal justice system, both nationally and in Vermont. We will learn from and hold visioning sessions with people who have experienced the system first-hand, in order to learn what might be different, philosophically and practically. We will travel to NYC to learn many different inspiring models that are working towards a more just and humane criminal-incarceration system. We will attend the Credible Messenger Center Conference.

Participants in this project will participate in informing, supporting and ushering targeted initiatives and campaigns throughout the upcoming year, here in Vermont.
